The Luger P08 was the main sidearm of the German Empire that came out by 1900. It was designed by Georg J. Luger, however was introduced by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken Aktien-Gesellschaft at the start of the 20th century.

World War 1-World War 2Edit

When World War 1 started, the Luger was mass produced for the war effort in Germany, along side the Mauser C96 which was also developed in Germany. This weapon proved it's worth; however not many were built when the War was over.

By World War 2, Nazi Germany started producing the weapon once more and was issued to troops of both the Wehrmacht, Gestapo and even the Schutzstaffel. By this time however, the Luger started showing it's many draw backs; such as it's inability to work in mud, dirt or snow. This was later fixed when they developed new holsters for the weapon, which would later become another drawback. Later on however, another draw back presented itself; when the weapon became too complex to mass produce.

The draw backs of the Luger led to it's replacement in 1938 when Walther Arms came out with their Walther P38. Even though the Walther P38 replaced the Luger, that didn't stop certain officers and troops from carrying the Luger.

Present DayEdit

Many of the countries of the present day world use the P08 Luger as a side arm and even enemies like the Waffen SS Paranormal Division Codenamed: Vampyr use this weapon for their purposes. Black Beret Member Alpha Wolf possesses a vintage collection and he has several versions of these pistols within them. Werehog Beta enjoys using a Luger P08 made entirely out of gold.

Note:Colonel Klaus Von Adalard wields one of these weapons along with a Walther P38 and also an SS Knife as well.
