  • The AK-47 is an assault rifle, chambered in a 7.62x39mm ammunition. It was designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov in 1949 and since then, the weapon has proven it's worth on the battlefield. The weapon was said to have been based of the German STG-44.

By the end of the 1940's The Russians were experimenting with new Assault Rifles and then a man named Mikhail Kalashnikov developed the AK-47 and was given a career manufacturing the rifle.

    Present DayEdit

The Weapon has made it's mark on the present day battlefield and is very reliable now due to improvements to it, however the earlier models had a recoil problem and that led to muzzle climb for the user. Over the years, the AK-47 has had a numerous amount of variants as well. Werehog Beta is known to have wielded a golden AK-47 in his arsenal while serving the Black Beret Corps in the 21st century. The AK-47 would later influence Mikhail Kalashnikov to create other variants of the weapon such as the AK-74, AK-74U, AKM, AKMSU, AK-103, AK-104 and even AK-12.
